I was cleaning today and realized that I lost the manual for Battlefield 2, along with the CD key that was printed on the back. I still have a working version of BF2 installed and I was wondering if there is some file or registry entry that I can search for that contains the CD key so I can write it down.
start> run > "regedit"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHING > Software > Electronic Arts > Ea Games > Battlefeild 2 > ergc and ur cd key should be there, but theres a 99% chance that it is encrypted
if u registered ur game to EA, then u can find it on their website
Ah, you're right. It's encrypted. Thanks anyway.
you can always use the reg file, make sure you save it and next time you install BF2 use a CD Key gen then add your saved reg file with the cd key
i feel like theres a program that can decrypt the cd-key, but idk where to find it
www.google.com
Search for it. Remember that some of these WILL be trojans, so have a good firewall such as ZoneAlarm running beforehand, and set it to block the program from contacting internet.
