I mean that the next generation graphic cards are coming soon so buying a directx9 is a bit of shame although it can play any game flawlessly but its better to get a cheaper card right now and upgrade later to directx10 so my suggestion as follows

    Motherboard:
    Asus P5B I965P S775 Core 2 Duo SATA2 Socket 775
    Hard Drive:
    WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB SATAII 16MB
    Processor:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz

    Memory:
    CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145590
    Video-card:
    X1900XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3

    Power Supply:
    Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W

OK but the graphics card I told u is better than the one u choosed and here is the proof and it is the same price

    http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/...-xxf2/HL2.html

And even the processor that I gave u is much effecient and powerfull than that pentium D and here is another proof and is is 15$ more expensive

    Why,s that?

    It's only ~1,90GhZ?

And BTW, in the INTEL PENTIUM D 945 3.4GHz/800MHz, it should be Dual-Core aswell. At least it reads on the description.
    http://www.superwarehouse.com/Intel_...3945/p/1486988

And the Dual-Core is about 50 €uros more expensive.

So I think I'll stick with what I have had in my mind.

    Guys, check this out, please.

OK, look. You came here for advise, and choose to completely ignore it.

If you buy that Pentium D, you are a fool. If you can't bother to take the time to research why a Pentium D @3.4ghz is slower than the newer MUCH BETTER Core Duo 2's...then perhaps you should just buy an Alienware and waste even more money, and stop wasting peoples time on the internet who tried to help you.

Try this nifty little relatively unknown website called GOOGLE. www.google.com

Simply typing the name of the specific Core Duo 2 processor you want into said nifty websites search box, presents you with numerous articles about the Core Duo 2(what a surprise eh?).

I bet if you tried hard enough, you might even be able to locate some benchmarks for the Pentium D...I wonder if google might have some info on that too?

    Just to get you started:
    http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu...-e6300_10.html

Make sure you actually READ the article and don't just look at the pretty graph bars.

    Hehe, just FYI:

The Core Duo 2 is much more expensive than the P4, in Finland. And, I've used my budget. So that's why i still stick with the P4. It's still a decent processor. And that P4 is some kind of Dual Core, too.
