    Discord Store Moves to Give Developers 90% of Sales Revenue

    In the new war on crappy revenue splits, Discord announced today that they are going to allow all developers to self-publish their games. Not only that, but they're going to give developers a 90% revenue share for games sold through the Discord Store. That leaves just the remaining 10% for Discord to cover operating costs.

    But wait, it gets even better.

    Discord says that they may even end up lowering that 10% to a smaller amount by finding ways to optimize their technology and making things more efficient.

    4A Games and Deep Silver announced that after five years of being in development, Metro Exodus has gone gold and is set to release a week earlier than original anticipated. The new release date is February 15, 2019 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

    Steam Link for Raspberry Pi is Available Now

    Valve announced that the Steam Link App is now available, for free, for those using Raspberry Pi 3B and 3B+ running Raspbian Stretch.

    Brad Wong and Eliot Announced for Dead or Alive 6

    Two additional fighters were just revealed for Dead or Alive 6 today courtesy of Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA. They are none other than Brad "The Drunken Fighter" Wong and Eliot, aka "The Apprentice of the Iron Fist."

    A new gameplay trailer for World War Z came out today. Saber Interactive provided a look at the upcoming four-player co-op game that was inspired by the film of the same name, which in turn was loosely inspired by the book of the same name.

    The Game Awards Doubles Viewership in 2018

    The Game Awards for 2018 apparently doubled its viewership to 26.2 million livestreams. This is up from 2017's 11.5 million livestreams. There were 1.13 million concurrent viewers watching The Game Awards on Twitch during its peak.

    ZeniMax Media announced today that they have reached an agreement in the recent legal battle between themselves and Facebook over the use of various VR technologies that ZeniMax says they created. To catch you up to speed, this legal began back in 2014 when ZeniMax first sued Oculus VR and Palmer Luckey.
