  • New Fatal Frame Game Coming to the Wii U

Tecmo Koei and Nintendo are gearing up to bring the world a new entry in the Fatal Frame franchise. As you may expect, it's currently in development for the Wii U.

As far as news goes on this new Fatal Frame, not much else is known. There is no title revealed yet nor was there any release date revealed for the new game. However, Tecmo Koei does plan on expanding the franchise through some non-gaming releases.

A live-action film is slated for release in the Fall. A new, original novel is slated to be released in August. In addition, a comic based on the franchise is also in the works. From the sounds of things, these three non-gaming titles may only be released in Japan and Asia.

It is also unclear if the game itself will be localized for North America since the previous release of a new title in the franchise never made its way over.
