Ever feel like you just couldn't give enough of your money to Activision? Well, turn that frown upside-down, Billy, because I have some wonderful news for you today! Microtransactions are coming to the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
First hitting the Xbox 360 version of the game tomorrow, players will be able to plunk down a few bucks for some optional "personal customizations or nice little luxuries." These microtransactions are said not to affect gameplay but will "enhanced your online experience." That's marketing for "you really, really don't need this but you don't want to look like a Plain Jane in front of all your bros, do you?"
In all seriousness though, everyone is getting Nuketown 2025 tomorrow for free. Nuketown 2025 Zombies, on the other hand, will set you back 400 MS Points. These microtransactions are completely optional and will go for 160 MS Points. They include weapon camos, targeting reticules, calling cards, extra create-a-class slots, and more. Some of them are bundled together in packs.
PC and PS3 players will have to wait for a "later date" to spend more of their money. If you own the Wii U version of the game... well, good for you.
