This Thursday, December 6, The Game Awards 2018 will air live from the Microsoft Theater in LA. We were just sent a little press release that talks about some of the presenters that will make an appearance as well as a preview of some of the new updates and premiers that will air during the event.

The Game Awards 2018 is gearing up for its biggest show ever this Thursday, December 6th, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Talent schedule to appear includes Jonah Hill, Christoph Waltz, The Russo Brothers (Avengers), Pepe the King Prawn, Aisha Tyler, Joel McHale, Rosa Salazar, Rivers Cuomo, Brendon Urie, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, JackSepticEye, Phil Spencer (Xbox), Jeff Kaplan (Blizzard), Shawn Layden (PlayStation) and more surprise guests and game developers to be announced.

Throughout the night, The Game Awards Orchestra, conducted by composer Lorne Balfe, will celebrate the rise of video game music with a series of performances featuring special guests, composers Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, Lena Raine (nominee, Celeste), and Sarah Schachner. In addition, the song “Devil Trigger” from the upcoming game Devil May Cry 5 will receive a rousing live performance.

Produced by Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards is one of the most widely distributed digital events on the planet. The ceremony celebrates the best video games of the year, plus a sneak preview of the biggest releases and updates to come with world premieres from Fortnite, Obsidian Entertainment, Anthem, Far Cry and more than 10 new game announcements. The show is live-streamed across all major digital, gaming and social platforms, including YouTube (in 4K UHD resolution), Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Mixer, Steam TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox Live, IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, MLG and Caffeine.tv - with more to be announced.

I don't have links to all of those streaming locations, but I do have links to where you can watch The Game Awards 2018 on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook.

There are a bunch of rumors and speculation already out there about the new trailer premiers we'll see. Some of these include a new Metroid reveal, Mortal Kombat XI, and more. Even Nintendo is hinting at some more Super Smash Bros. Ultimate goodness.

Maybe don't get your hopes up too high, Waluigi fans.
