  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Battle Royale Mode Starts at 80 Players and Includes Zombies

Some details about Blackout, the battle royale mode coming with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 are starting to come out this week courtesy of the October issue of Game Informer. So far some of the highlights include word that the beta will support 80 players though the final version is looking to target 100 players. They have already done internal tests with 100 players.

Well, color me surprised. If they can pull it off, I will be genuinely impressed since the Call of Duty multiplayer games aren't exactly known for their huge player counts.

The Blackout mode will also, drumroll please, include zombies. Because of course. Though apparently, the locations for the zombies in the map will make sense and they won't be everywhere. For example, Nuketown being turned into Nuketown Island would have zombies on it. I guess that makes sense?
