• Kerbal Space Program "Making History" Expansion is Out Now

The new Making History expansion for Kerbal Space Program was released today. This new content is out for the PC and adds in a bunch of new content, including a "robust" Mission Builder feature. The Mission Builder allows players to create, modify, and share their own missions with the world. The entire world will get to look at what you create. No pressure there or anything.

Players can customize their own missions to include launches, landings, rescues, malfunctions, explosions, repairs, and other events. Unique victory conditions, exciting challenges, and unexpected obstacles provide an array of possibilities in these missions. Players can share the missions they created with the Kerbal Space Program community.

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion also features a History Pack containing a variety of pre-made missions inspired by humankind's own space exploration. From spacewalking to crash landing on the Mun and everything in between, players can attempt to recreate iconic moments inspired by historic events, but with a unique Kerbal twist. Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion also includes a number of new parts and astronaut suits inspired by the Space Race that players can use throughout Kerbal Space Program.

"As massive fans of space exploration ourselves, we are thrilled about what this first expansion for Kerbal Space Program has in store for fans," said Ed Tomaszewski, Director of Business Development at Private Division. "Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion pays homage to the glory days of the Space Race, while celebrating the creativity we see daily from the Kerbal Space Program community."

Kerbal Space Program: Making History will set you back $14.99 (USD). You can purchase the Making History expansion and Kerbal Space Program itself through Steam.
