      Just when I began to lose hope that there would be a Halloween 2012 event for Team Fortress 2, Valve goes ahead and releases the first teaser for the update. Just moments ago, fans noticed that the Spy's face had changed on the main Team Fortress 2 page. Clicking it leads to a page of the Teufort Reader.


      Some potential interesting pieces on here are the mentions of Merasmus the Magician and Fedris the Enchanter. There are also some potential candidates for new items or abilities there with the Voodoo-Cursed Items and the potential new map of Skull Island.

      Hopefully we'll have more details soon!

        Holy crap that is a lot of references in a single page.
        I... Uh... Is this even a spoiler when the references I'm pointing out are from the picture? I mean it's more Captain Obvious isn't it?
        There's the continuation of the Very Scary Halloween Special storyline (looks like Merasmus, Soldier, and even Bombinomicon still haven't resolved their issues from the 2011 comic), Mann Co. and their blatant disregard for logic, reason, and safety (as well as Mann vs. Machine), another reference to the Alamo, and a random cameo by Scout.
        Hmm... I didn't expect a direct sequel to 2011. Figured it would be another self-contained episode like the Headless Horseless Horseman.
