      David Fincher, known for his work with Fight Club, Se7en, and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, is slated to be the producer for an upcoming Halo 4 launch trailer. The director will be Tim Miller, best known for his work on Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

      It will be a two-minute long trailer entitled Scanned and it will premiere during the October 18 episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Don't worry, as those who don't care to watch Fallon will be able to see the trailer on YouTube and Waypoint almost immediately after its debut.

      "Halo is one of the most iconic sci-fi universes, with a depth that allows for amazingly cinematic and emotionally riveting stories. The chance to tell a story that explores never-before-seen facets of Master Chief's journey is an honor. Our goal is to deliver a blockbuster, Hollywood-quality trailer that raises the bar for the award-winning legacy of live-action Halo storytelling and gets fans stoked for the return of Master Chief." - Tim Miller

      Scanned was filmed in Prague and will take a look at Master Chief's back story.

      This trailer is different from the Forward Unto Dawn mini-series that began last week and continues on until the game's release.
