      An update made yesterday to the Diablo III Public Test Realm offered up a surprising, and rather refreshing change. Drop rates on Legendary items has been doubled. This move was made in conjunction with a variety of bug fixes and other tweaks.

      If it proves to be a worthwhile change, this doubled drop rate will be included in the final changes for the non-beta release of the 1.0.5 patch.

      As this is merely a test, it is possible that this experiment will not make it into the final patch release, or it could be changed to be more than double. Nobody really knows just yet, but at least it's a start.
