The first juicy details for the Engineer update for Team Fortress 2 have started to trickle out. First up in the form of a new multi-page comic (http://www.teamfortress.com/loosecanon) from the TF2 Blog (http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=4013&p=1). Next is the Golden Wrench uncovered by members of the Steampowered forums (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1334460).

Hidden in the latest Team Fortress 2 update was code that alluded to a Golden Wrench weapon. Hidden within the game's GCF files was an image, this image to be exact.

It seems rather harmless until you adjust the image's alpha channels to reveal this.

The URL within the image leads to this decoding site. Inputting the text found at the top of the hidden image reveals the phrase: "Clearly this is more space than needed. I wonder what else was here." Very interesting.

Want to know something else that's cool? There's already a video of the Wrench in action, but only if you hit "continue reading" below!<!--more-->
