I did read the whole thread. **** them if they warn/ban me, this place is getting boring. Could use some incentive to make it interesting.

Gamespy isn't much of the competition, it's more like the mother of all gaming forums. And the other forum is pretty much dead like this place.

Good question. I cant actually see anything in the rules about referencing other forums. I know I have done so lots of times when they contained relevant information.

Maybe they are afraid of a lawsuit if we let Redink loose on other forums?

I had a problem one time where my BF2 account got banned by gamespy for something completely unrelated to bf2. The reason was absurd in the first place. I had put a picture in my IGN profile that I had got from the IGN website of a chick in a bikini. I got banned from gamespy and battlefield 2 for something that I did on the IGN website that was perfectly ok. It was like 3 month ordeal. EA referred me to gamespy and gamespy was referring me to EA. Anyways I ended up getting the chick canned and bikini pics at gamespy are no longer "offensive".

Can you image what she must have looked like if a picture of a girl in a swimsuit offended her?

She actually had changed my BF2 password to keep me from being able to use my gamespy id anywhere. Her authority was only over gamespy arcade accounts. I didn't even have gamespy arcade installed on my computer.

This was a swimsuit pic! IGN has pictures posted of topless women with IGN logos covering the nipples.

I wonder how rare it is that someone receives a spam infraction in Off Topic. I'm sure it's not often unless it's a bot, so you might be a part of an elite group.

Correct, Eh is to be used after a question and mostly done by Canadians. I have a thing for Old English/Middle English and have used it a small bit since I was a little kid.

Looking at his post he didn't ask if he was Canadian he was saying he was Canadian, which, would technically make his term correct. I think he was trying to imitate the Canadian term "Eh?" though.

How about this?

Ask DICE for a game with a learning curve which does not cater to the butterfingered crybabies who would rather complain than adapt. This way, people actually want to put in some time into getting better, or actually ask for advice on how to do "this" and "that", in turn, other people start creating content, guides, helptopics, videos- attracting even more people. New methods are discovered, collective research is being made. If moderated well, good and entertaining arguments will rise and people will have a great and fun time on the forums. What will cause this? Some god damn depth in a stupid videogame.

These forums started dwindling down the second BF2142 proved itsself to be not what it was advertised, not when this or that moderator left. It seems like Im actually the only person who was active in the subforum which was actually OT-s lifeline.

And Vika, seriously man, if youre bored, find another forum. So that instead of being ridiculed, when you do occasionally show your face, youre going to be actually greeted by familiar faces.

We never needed a reason. We just like to make our bans follow our rules. Trust me, I think they could just ban you right now if they actually minded your presence.
