Hardware that need updates

Can anyone list all the types of hardware that requires driver or firmware updates? So far I got the following:

Operating System
Video Card
Sound Card
Motherboard
Optical Drive

Optical Drive, i don't think it needs it but i do mine anyhow.
Motherboard - Bios Flash.

NIC (I know mine updates regularly through windows update)
