what current connection do you have 123? and is it laggy for you? if it is try playing SP and see if theres much difference, as the performance issue could be due to your system specs (if there is any at all that is).

yeah lol im the same as alex, though i cant play past midnight cuz thats when all my house-mates turns on their downloads and such, so i get extreme lag lol.

but unfortunately i am not hooked up to it =( u know why cuz we have an ISP called Karoo here and (this is the only part in england that is like this) they have a monopoly over hull, so there is NO other internet provider you could use, its either them or nothing, and its really annoying as their service is bad but u cant do anything about it...

but its still manageable i think =)

there should'nt be upload/download on SP, maybe u are getting lag because your graphics card isnt supported.

Yup, on a good computer, the 7600gt can just about play high. But, with a celeron and only 1.5gb RAM, you should probably only be playing medium.

That is a test I just did. I play fine on european servers with 80-100 ping, 170-200 to US. I star to notice bad things up to around 190 ping really, so I just stick to european servers. I get no internet lag whatsoever unless someone else uses the internet at the same time. Lag can be because of internet or PC. I am also using wi-fi if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately I don´t really have any stats to show, beacause I have one account me and my friends used to play on ages ago, and 2 new ones. The problem being I almost never play BF2, only Project reality mod.

With that connection, I have no problem when my dad, brother, and I play in different BF2 servers and my sister playing WoW. It has to be something with your system specs.

yeah alex, mine kinda varies as well, ive seen it go as high as 60,000Kb/s d/l but it just really changes, i guess it depends on when and how many people are using at any one time.

i could try again for you if you want, but as i said its unreliable it really changes alot. but this is like an average i would say - def good to play on!! :P

These were my first days playing online games (BF2), but I don't remember having a laggy connection.
I can't recall the ping I got though.
These days I get a ping like 30-50 on most EU servers.
