Back-Up Multiplayer Info

Since your ranks, achievements, and unlocks are all stored on your hard-drive, what files should be duplicated and put say on an external-hard-drive in order to successfully back up your characte? Thanks!

I'd like to know as well, because I'm considering moving all of those files over to my 8 Series computer.

Also, does moving the files over to another computer cause any sort of problems?

everything is saved here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\your name

save that folder you should be fine

If your using Steam:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\Steam Apps\common\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\your name

Or, if you have Vista:

C:\Users\<Vista Name Here>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\<your profile name>

your Ranks and Stats are stored in the file called MPDATA (located in the profiles place)

Theres also your config (SP) and your mp_config (MP) and also all savegames
