then it is the sequel to cod3 which was not made by iw,im sure we will se cod6 in modern warfare with a release on pc.

ok so COD3 wasnt that great a game, but i wouldnt go as far as saying it was crap. but i have to say Infinity Ward (IW) is better.
theres a video flying about somewhere of an interview with someone from IW saying that when Activision asked for another WWII based game for COD4, IW kept putting it off cause they wanted to move on, then thats when they came up with MW.
hopefully what has happened is activision asked IW to do it, but IW declined when they found out it had to be WWII. i cant really see why else they would choose not to give it to IW after they have done wonders with this game.:confused:

I think COD5 is going to be console-only, done by Treyarch (same guys as COD3).

IW will probably do COD6 instead, and hopefully take their time as they did with COD4. Waiting sucks, but the quality and balance of COD4 certainly did shine through. For me, a game like that is worth the wait.

Technically, Grey Matter made COD:UO. Although they later became/merged with Treyarch, it's likely that significant turnover might have occured with their personnel, so it's hard to say that because the former company did something, that the newer one could as well. Treyarch has a less-than-stellar record with PC games; they're better off sticking with Consoles. :|:

LOL. Totally disagree. Treyarch continues making WWII shooters for Console, and IW cranks out a Modern shooter for BOTH Console and PC (perhaps every 2nd year). COD began in the WWII genre, and many of its fans still want that.

Short-attention-span console people ;) get their version more often, and PC's mod-ability allows it to remain fresh longer. By producing both, and alternating them, it's a win-win.

I'd like to be a resistance fighter, or for one a Wehrmacht soldier.

I dont mean, an SS-Hitler fanatic mass killing jews, but a soldier, a regular, normal soldier.

Listen i know it would be amazing to be a nazi soldier but its going to get to political if you ask me. trust me i would like too see it too. But can i point this out too did anyone actually like CoD3? I thought it suck badly. i think if they really wanted to stay ww2 is make a source version of the orignal. Just port vcod and Uo over to the new engine that would be asome and i know i would buy it. WW2 is over. I am i big WW2 guy i know there is potentially more butits just been milked soooooo much with the ever repeating of omaha and north africa raids that its been killed.

To torchwood i would highly recommend saboteur which you play as a resistance fighter.
