Just wondering if there was a way? I have a PC and my friends all have the Xbox version. Meh.

Nope, as 360 doesn't use servers to play, instead they are playing off the hosts internet connection from their system.

Right now the only game I know of that allows play between 360 and PC is Shadowrun. That requires having a Live subscription.

if they connected 360's to PC's, PCs would pwn the 360s, more movement(aiming easier???)

This is generally a PC platform forum and so we here have biased opinions, but CoD4 as a game doesnt change from the Xbox to the PC other than different controls and possibly better graphics.

No, There are 2 different servers set up for PC and 360 owners to play on.
Not sure if it would ever be possible for one day when they could link the servers up and a 360 and a PC owner could finally get to play against eachother.

I miss Quake III Arean. You could play against PC players when you where on a Dreamcast, even now a days.

Mostly they don't want to do it cause console players use to whine about k+m vs controllers (k+m pawns controllers).

I'd love to go up against console players and show them how superior the pc really is, LOL.
Seriously though, can anybody who owns both tell us which they prefer, i dont think you can aim as quick or precise with a console controller.

my friend told me shadowrun got nerfed to hell and back because console gamers complained so much.

They had to turn on autoaim for PC users because the console players were consistently winning during the developement of the game.

on the 360 you can adjust the sensitivity of the controller... I don't know if you can for COD4 but I could for HALO3

still aint going to give you the precision of a pc.
