HI, i just got my new call of duty 4, i cant play multliplayer. i have a screen shot of the problem please help me. really want to play multiplayer thanks

and if i click yes or no it says iw3mp.exe has stopped working please help

try starting up single player and then switching to multi player.

If that doesn't work try restarting your computer.\

If that doesn't work, try to get a iw3mp.exe file from another person and replace your broken one.

If that doesn't work, reinstall COD4...but make sure you have a copy of the file or whatever that stores your rank data. (Not sure where that is on your comp though)

Just found the fix for it yesterday and I already posted it in another thread here.

I had this too and I found a fix for it. It sounds funny but it works. You have to plug in your microphone into your sound card and it'll work. Try it out.

Firippur - Do you have a USB mic? I do not have a USB mic and plugging it in does not work for me.

I have exactly same problem that is described in this thread and so many others.

My system is getting aged but is capable of playing this. I was able to play for a few days but I could not connect to all the servers so I tried a reinstall and nothing works now.
