Well, actually, I do have another computer with an 8800GT, but that's shared, and I mainly use this one.

Should last a little longer, although technologies are changing and you will sure notice your system struggling with the newer games that come the market if it isn't already ;).

7300 isnt that great, but P4 and ram should last you a couple more months. well P4 is pretty much obselete

It isn't obsolete, but nor is it exactly cutting edge, its on its way out but it will last for a bit before upgrading is a necessity.

Dump the 7300LE and you might get a few more months out of it, but the CPU is pretty poor too.

It will be obsolite when it cant physically run the newer games on their lowest spec.

exactly, don't go with dell unless you are willing to spend money for their best system. And then you'll get one that can play 2142 decently...maybe...if you're lucky and they put in a 8800 instead of an 8600 on accident

They do, it's just that it's very expensive. Their liquid cooling is sweet though.

Yup, their H2C tec/liquid cooling is very, very good. it's the price and BTX layout that let's them down.

My computer can run Crysis on medium, Ut3 on medium-high, BF2 on all high, CoH on medium, Cod4 Demo on medium.
I'm 2.6 ghz Athlon 3400+ SINGLE CORE processor with 2 gigs of ram and a 7600GT video card. You're comp will be fine for a good long time if you ask me, I know mine will be.
But we all know its gonna happen so when you upgrade, upgrade things that you can take over to your new computer when you get one, like a nice 8800.

Its on the last legs you face the prob i went through 6 moths ago everything except cd drives, flopply drive will need replaced when u upgrade.

oh and with dells i just hate fixing /upgradeing them for people drivers yes easy to get but inside the case all fitings are special to dells so can be a pain in the **** to deal with.

for example changiing a fan ment i had to cut rubber screws from the old one to get it out.

Dell might make good computers, but the value that fails.
