Anyone know where to put the map files when someone actually makes a custom map? I've already seen a map it comes with the UT3 file and a ini file. Where do they go?
C:\Documents and Settings\Fuubjuh\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Unpublished\CookedPC\CustomMaps
I think thats where it is. Try it out.

I put the UT3 and ini in the location you suggested. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I also tried
D:\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\CookedPC\Maps
and
D:\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\CookedPC\Private\Maps
which didn't work either. What is confusing about the file names are that all the supporting files end with upk. It didn't used to be that way with previous UT games; such as texture files ended with utx, mesh files ended with usx and so on. I wonder if the game files need to be at multiple locations and if the ini file goes somewhere else other than where the map files go.
Thanks for trying.

I found the answer in another forum. Just thought I share it here. You have to put the custom maps in
(C drive)My docs, my games, UT3, UTgame, Published, CookedPC, Maps.
You must create folders "published" "cooked pc" "maps" because they do not exist.
