Wow, I'm a 1Lt with about 980 kills to around 1290 deaths. Just goes to show you can still achieve rank if you suck like me.

This is mine... almost the same K/d ratio than on Battlefield 2/2142... i suck a little :p But well, i play for fun, so i don't care too much. :D

I'm 'even' with a miniscule edge to kills over deaths (1.15:1 ratio). I play with my clan mates who constantly pwn my sorry excuse of a carcass. So, I have go play pub games and pwn others just to keep even!

While it is tough dealing with guys who kill you every time they encounter you, it does harden you. I'm becoming a better player each night I play with my mates and that's a great feeling. ;)

The first few days I played lots of TDM to get the headshot challenges, after that I eased down and now I'm playing Search&Destroy exclusively, which doesn't get me that much kills compared to TDM.

Like Sonic, I hover around 1.2 I have amazing rounds where I pwn everything in sight, and I have rounds where I die as soon as I spawn in. Lets everyone stroke their e-penis and get it over with. ;)

Mine is like 7,000 - 5,000. But I play (now) with an average of 2:1 or 3:1, just my original noobness killed my original ratio.

i didnt start getting a positive KD ratio until after i was about level 40 so there is plenty of time. I dont have a screenshot but i have roughly.

4500 Kills - 3500 Deaths.

the annoying this is i have a HUGE amount of assists, 2000 assists :(

It's barely over 1, so sue me. I enjoy playing whatever class I feel like, whenever. It's Shipment? I think I'll try sniping! The number of headshots to kills is something I'm proud of.

While it's interesting to see these, no one should be discouraged if theirs isn't a good ratio. Although it will get better the longer you play, it also very much depends on the gametypes you play, AND your style of play (eg. campers & snipers will usually be higher, run-n-gunners lower, etc).

Nothing wrong with any style you play, just don't get down if your ratio isn't uber-high. As long as YOU'RE having fun and enjoying how you play, that's the important part.

Whiskey does indeed have a valid point. Your play style will greatly affect your KD ratio. I had a round where I was playing "Marksman" with the M14 and went something like 17-3. In the same round, my P90 run&gun friend went 45-31.

It really is a flawed stat to keep track of. Having a good KD ratio is an admirable goal, but it places pretty low in overall priority.

1- Have fun.
2- Concentrate on helping your team win.
3- Have a good score.

3 is of little consequence if you don't accomplish 1 and 2.

I agree with Whiskey and Cantina_Fly.

I attempted to back up my stats after reaching lvl55 a few weeks back and lost my data. I thought, "No big deal, I got here really fast."

Then, my K/D ratio started to get really bad and I was getting a little irked...

Now that I've gotten my unlocks and weapons back, I'm now getting at least a 2:1 ratio per round in the pubs. Every 4 rounds or so I get a 4-5:1 ratio. So, I'd have to agree that as you level up and adjust your play style, it gets a little easier to maintain a positive ratio. (whew... I was getting worried that I 'lost my edge')

Now, if I can keep my mates from pwning me with their ninja-like leetness, I'll be good to go. :ar15:

I got to rank 55 in under 48 hours of playing, and had only about 2500 - 3000 kills for that period... I played a lot of headquarters.

So now I play mostly TDM trying to get kills rather than objectives.

Gone to rank 30 really fast today, maybe 'cause at last i did my first 25 headshot challenge, with the holy MP5 :), and the da** 75 kills with the AK-47, that plus another one that i forgot, one of "win X rounds of X mode"... :p

I don't know what mine is. I'm probably approaching 2:1. I started out bad, but had been improving. I haven't really been trying. I just mess around with different guns and unlock their attachments and then move on to the next gun.
